The 4 Facets of Grief: How to help your clients navigate loss and gain resilience
This workshop offers a roadmap to help your clients answer the essential question: “How will I go on?”
Whether they are facing the death of a loved one, a divorce or breakup, health challenges, or other losses, the human experience includes times when someone or something very dear or highly valued has been taken away. Since grief is the human response to loss, it can be transformative for clients to learn how it works and what helps the process.
You will gain new understandings for working with clients in their most difficult moments, and learn strategies that support:
• Healing a broken heart or a broken spirit
• Rebuilding their world after loss
• Rediscovering joy and hope along the way
This seminar teaches a grief resilience system using skill-building techniques that promote wellness, peace, and growth. The tools are easy to teach clients and enhance their ability to cope well with whatever life dishes out. The system also supports the clinician in the powerful work they do.
Three CE units are available for social workers and counselors.
